Welcome to Ollerbrook Cottages

Nestled in the heart of the Vale of Edale, are Ollerbrook Cottages – two luxurious self-catering stone cottages sleeping 2-5 people plus a cot.

With Mam Tor on the doorstep, the cottages are a walker’s paradise, enjoying stunning views of the area  and combining traditional features, such as open fires and exposed beams, with modern day comforts.

Ollerbrook Cottages are less than 30 minutes by rail from Manchester and Sheffield and enjoy the convenience of two pubs, a shop and two cafes just a few minutes’ walk away in the local village of Edale.

Join Jenny and Keith at Ollerbrook and you will see why we love it so much!

We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this was one of the best. The setting is very picturesque with many lovely walks from the door, whether you want to stroll on the flat or hike up hills. The cottage itself is very clean, cosy and well-equipped, with a blend of old and modern. It will accommodate 5 people comfortably. This will most likely become one of our regular homes from home.

Happy Memories.

Our fourth visit. Thank you for a lovely stay in your charming cottage. Fantastic weather so could walk every day in this very special place. Hope to return soon.

“The Plover cottage was perfect, the weather matched luckily for us. Everything you could need/want for a stay in the beautiful Edale area. The owners couldn’t be more helpful and perfect location for walking.”

“I can only endorse all the previous comments here as they are spot on – just had a terrific long weekend in Plover cottage. If you want to stay in a cottage in the Peak District then this is the one to go for – can’t fault the accommodation in any regard.”

“Just returned from a fabulous family Christmas at Ollerbrook. My sister and I booked both cottages which adjoin Narnia fashion though a little door (mind your head!). This was perfect as each family had its own space but we could come and go without getting wet! The location is superb: amazing views front and back and magnificent walking right from the doorstep…”

The atmospheric remains of Magpie Mine near Bakewell are a must-see for history-lovers👌 Thought to be over 300 years old, Magpie Mine was the last working mine in Derbyshire when it closed in the 1950s and is one of the best examples of a 19th century lead mine in the UK 😮
